Day 1: Setting Sail from Split to Stari Grad
Our adventure began in Split, Croatia, where we were welcomed aboard the Scorpios with canapes and champagne. The whole crew was waiting on the aft deck, with their big smiles, in their uniforms looking very polished and making us feel like VIPs the minute we stepped on the passerelle. The owner Antonio welcomed us onboard, presented the yacht and the crew, and shared a story about Tramontana Yachts, their vision, goals, and values we mutually share. Felling inspired by his presentation we were ready to depart to Stari Grad on the island of Hvar. As we set sail, the crew treated us to a delightful lunch, providing a taste of the culinary delights that awaited us for the rest of our voyage. We enjoyed the rest of the afternoon docked in Stari Grad and took a stroll through the town. As the sun set, a delightful dinner was served on the yacht, setting the tone for the great trip ahead.
Day 2: Stari Grad to Vis via Pakleni Islands
On the second day, we sailed from Stari Grad towards the mesmerizing Pakleni Islands en route to Vis. Breakfast was served as we ventured through the Adriatic waters, stopping at the Pakleni Islands for a delightful lunch. One of the highlights of the day was anchoring in a quiet bay during the afternoon. This tranquil location allowed us to enjoy swimming and water sports. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we enjoyed cocktails and a sumptuous dinner on board, overlooking the beautiful coastline and creating a perfect atmosphere for networking.
Day 3: From Vis to Korcula
As the sun rose on the third day, we set sail from Vis to Korcula, once again relishing breakfast with a stunning view. Our lunch was accompanied by the inspection of another magnificent yacht, Acapella. After the insightful tour of the yacht by Captain Niksa and the story about his inspiration to build Acapella, we were treated by a mouthwatering family-style lunch prepared by amazing chef Tiho and served by their professional Interior team. In the afternoon, we had the choice to engage in water sports or, for those needing a workspace, focus on tasks. Later, a guided tour of the charming old town of Korcula was arranged as Antonio immersed us in the rich history and culture of the area. The day culminated in a spectacular sunset at 'Massimo Bar' and the option to dine in town or together at 'Tavern Maha', catering to our personal preferences.
Day 4: Sailing to Makarska
We awoke on day four to the promise of new experiences. The morning was dedicated to sailing to Makarska, with breakfast served against the backdrop of the Adriatic's stunning beauty. On our way, we stopped in a stunning bay where we anchored side by side with another gem of the Croatian yacht scene, Clase Azul. We had a chance to inspect it and have lunch onboard, which was another of the many five-star experiences on this trip. After relaxing for a bit and enjoying the watersports we continued our voyage to Makarska, where we also had the privilege of inspecting the exquisite Gulet Tajna Mora from Otium Yachts fleet, welcoming us with more delicious food. On the last evening, Chef Bruno prepared a 6-course Tasting Menu that was a spectacular feast, proving what he and his Sous Chef were made of. All of that was of course accompanied by the impeccable service of the Interior Team and paired with the best Croatian wines. The presentation and the knowledge of the crew were invaluable. We have to say that the whole Scorpios crew was spot-on throughout the whole trip. The values Antonio introduced to us at the beginning of the trip are genuinely reflected in their performance
Day 5: Returning to Split
Our final day of this extraordinary journey involved an early departure from Makarska back to Split. Breakfast was a delightful affair enjoyed while sailing, with a brief stop near Orij to inspect the impressive yachts Navilux and Omnia, cornerstones, and standard-setting examples within the Otium Yachts fleet. As our journey came to a close, we disembarked in Split, wrapping up an unforgettable and insightful experience.
