Our week aboard the Son de Mar in Croatia was beyond extraordinary! From the moment we set sail, Captain Mate Vitaljic and his incredible crew made this journey one we will never forget.

Chef Antonija and sous chef Nena spoiled us with world-class meals that rivaled any fine dining experience. Stews Matea, Indija, and Lea brought so much warmth, care, and attention to detail, making us feel truly pampered every day. Deckhands Ivan, Luka, and Nikola worked tirelessly to ensure smooth sailing, safety, and fun at every stop.

The entire team worked in perfect harmony, creating an atmosphere that was both professional and deeply personal. Croatia’s coastline is breathtaking, but it was this exceptional crew that made our trip absolutely magical.

If you are considering sailing Croatia, the Son de Mar with this outstanding crew is the only way to do it!

It is difficult to express the week we spent together, your lovely country was by far our best family vacation! The weather was incredible (we got lucky), the amazing sea, the islands, but more importantly, your kindness, food, and the incredible crew.

We will never forget this week. It was the best way of celebrating Mariana’s birthday. ¡GRACIAS TOTALES!

The charter just ended and I wanted to write immediately to thank you all for providing my client with a lovely yacht but more importantly with a first class outstanding Crew. We all know it is always the Crew who make the success of every charter and enable us brokers to have repeat clients and enhance our relationships and reputation, and I can say for sure this Crew have excelled in every way for us here! The client and her family /friends clearly had a wonderful week and I have no doubt will be leaving just now with hearts full of joy and wonderful memories. It is charters like this which make our jobs a pleasure, but all thanks and compliments to a wonderful crew. And from the Charterer, with more than 20 years of charter experience... This crew is the best I’ve had and it has been a wonderful week. One of the best if not the best charters I’ve had. Thx so much. Thx for everything!

Crew / Service – A++
Fully staffed, exceptionally trained and coordinated, pleasant, interesting, happy, and overly accommodating. They knew exactly what appropriate attention was and how to handle almost any request. Silent yet present when needed, and just super experienced. I couldn’t help but notice the uniforms—sporty, fresh, trendy—with six versions, all coordinated down to the shoes! The service and attention were perfectly balanced. The laundry smelled great every day. The captain’s flexibility, confidence, and knowledge were clear. He knew every island, the ideal anchoring spots, and showed a willingness to harbor and pivot—always easygoing and pleasant, with great communication and providing options every day. He checked in constantly and was very, very accommodating. The crew took great care of the boys, even looking after them for late-night outings.

Accommodations and Equipment – A
Being a brand-new boat helps—extremely well-appointed and finished, clean, with strong AC, and attention to every detail. Massive speakers and a karaoke machine with costumes, great towels, and fresh towels twice a day for swimming. Plates and silverware varied daily, etc. The TV room had an excellent layout and technology, while the outdoor sun and sitting areas offered multiple options. Swimming and water activities are very important to our group, and this was A-ranked with all the newest, highest-end equipment, a wide variety, and frequent availability without complaint. Plenty of places to find privacy as well—very nice.

Food – A++
Exceeded expectations. Extremely fresh and clean, with high-quality selections, a wide variety, and an impressive range—outstanding. The best we have encountered to date. Many options suited everyone. We ate more meals on the boat than ever before, thanks to the exceptional offerings.

Roko, Jure, Daniela, and Branco are the best crew I've ever had. I have done 4 cruises & I have experience with crews. This one is the BEST.

Hello Katarina, we just landed in Mexico. Everything was wonderful – the food was excellent, the spots we visited were stunning, and the crew was fantastic. The whole group truly enjoyed the experience. Thank you so much!

Thank you for the immense amount of patience with our children, for waking up early and fishing, playing hide and seek, and taking us to collect the lobster. We will be back! P.S. We had the best time! The crew were absolutely superb and made the whole experience unforgettable. The trip was so inspiring that some of us are even planning to celebrate our own 40ths in the same way! We can’t thank you enough for all your help – we’d love to do it again.

We had an incredible week on Tanja Mora. We spent more time on the boat at remote spots with incredible coves. The crew, as always, was amazing. Did I tell you how much we love these guys! They went above and beyond, arranging an early birthday dinner for me at the lighthouse on Susac Island. It will be a birthday that will always be remembered!

I really cannot find the exact words to say thank you. Truly, every hour of every day, the crew worked so hard to make us feel welcome and comfortable. My whole family felt cared for in every way.

We wish to come back and see you all again. Life feels richer after this trip – every moment, every meal, every second was truly amazing. Thank you so much.

Please also share this with the captain and the entire crew. You all felt like family to us during this week, and for the rest of our lives, these memories will stay with us for sure.
