This year, we had the opportunity to visit MEDYS in Nafplion, one of the most important yacht charter shows in the Mediterranean, and it didn’t take long to understand why it holds such a strong reputation in the industry.
After landing in Athens, we continued towards Nafplion by transfer. The drive itself already felt like a transition, from the fast pace of the city into something much more relaxed and maritime. Arriving in the harbour, we were welcomed by rows of yachts, busy decks, and people from all over the world preparing for a full few days ahead. From the very beginning, the atmosphere felt energetic, professional, and full of anticipation.

Walking through MEDYS 2026
WALKING THROUGH THE SHOW
Most of our time was spent moving between yachts, meeting crews, stepping inside different interiors, and getting a real feel for what the upcoming charter season will look like.
One of the strongest impressions of MEDYS is how different everything feels when you are actually onboard. Photos and brochures can only show so much, but once you step inside, you immediately understand the layout, the flow of the spaces, and the character of each yacht in a much more direct way.
The crews played a big role in shaping the experience. Everyone we met was open, welcoming, and genuinely happy to share their stories, from life onboard to guest experiences and favourite cruising routes. Those small conversations often made each visit more memorable.
OUR PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS
Out of all the yachts we visited, a few naturally stood out and stayed with us even after the show ended.
Our personal top five were M/Y “Anasa”, M/Y “Element”, M/Y “Malen”, M/Y “Bliss”, and M/Y “Sojo”.
Each one had something different to offer. Some left an impression through their design and atmosphere, others through the feeling onboard, and some simply because of the positive energy from the crew. That variety is exactly what makes yacht shows like MEDYS so interesting - nothing ever feels the same from one yacht to another.

MORE THAN JUST A YACHT SHOW
What really stood out this year was the international scale of the event. MEDYS brings together professionals from all over the world, and it creates a space where meetings, conversations, and new opportunities happen naturally throughout the day.
We also had the chance to meet a large number of new brokers and connect with colleagues from different parts of the industry. For us, this side of the event is just as important as the yachts themselves. Building new relationships, strengthening existing ones, and staying closely connected within the industry is something we genuinely value.
Spending time face-to-face with partners, exchanging experiences, and reconnecting with colleagues reminded us once again how important these relationships are in yachting and how much they shape the way we work throughout the season.

We left Nafplion with new ideas, great conversations, and a clear sense of excitement for the season ahead.
We are already looking forward to the next MEDYS edition!
